Sculptural lights Made to Order
On my walks through the forest that surrounds my home and studio, I began to notice the beauty of fallen branches. So I started collecting them, bringing them inside and spending time with them. Peeling bark. Sanding. Letting them tell me what they wanted to become.
Over many months, a series of sculptural pieces began to emerge. Each one is a quiet collaboration, between the branch's own history, the clay forms I've been shaping over the past year, and the soft glow of LED light woven through.
These pieces can live with you in two ways: as sconces, wired directly into your wall, or as plug-in lights with a discreet cord cover.
However they arrive, I hope they bring something of the forest's quiet presence into your home, a reminder that discarded things can still hold so much life.
