COMMISSIONS

COMMISSIONED ARTWORK – TERMS & PROCESS

The artist offers a limited number of commissioned paintings each year, allowing collectors to own a bespoke work inspired by their vision while maintaining the integrity of her artistic practice. Whether drawn to an existing piece or seeking something uniquely tailored, each commission is approached with the same depth, intention, and creative freedom that defines her work.

How It Works

1. Initial Inquiry & Consultation

Those interested in commissioning a piece are encouraged to reach out with details about:

• The artwork that serves as inspiration (a past piece, color palette, or mood).

• The preferred size and format.

• Any key themes or elements to be incorporated.

From there, the artist will reach out to discuss and refine the vision, ensuring alignment before providing a price quote based on the complexity and scale of the work.

2. Pricing & Payment

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the commission.

• The remaining 50% is due before delivery of the completed piece.

• Commissioned works are priced 25–50% above standard pieces due to the additional consultation, customization, and time involved.

3. Timeline & Process

• Completion time varies depending on scale and scheduling, typically 4–12 weeks.

• The artist provides one progress update to share how the piece is evolving.

• While inspiration from past works is considered, all commissions remain original creations, not replicas. The artist retains full creative freedom over the final piece.

4. Shipping & Delivery

• The client covers all shipping and handling costs, including optional insurance.

• Each artwork is professionally packaged for safe transit, and a shipping quote is provided upon completion.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.

• If the client chooses not to complete the final payment, the artwork remains the property of the artist and may be sold or repurposed.

6. Copyright & Reproduction

• The artist retains full copyright and reproduction rights over all works, including commissioned pieces.

• Clients may display their purchased artwork in personal or commercial spaces but may not reproduce, resell, or alter the work without explicit permission.
